Season 2008 We've been working on the 2008 season since October 2007. Now it's time for all you softball players to knock off the dust and the rust and get to work too! We had great input from this past season and hope by incorporating those ideas we will continue to endeavor to make this a great softball summer! The Board has some positions coming up for election (see below) and welcomes an infusion of people with new ideas, high energy, willing and ready to put in the time and effort. The League has budgeted for 20 teams this again this year. Returning 2007 team registration is from Jan.15 to Apr.4, 2008 at 5:00 pm. We will have new team registration and late registration for returning teams Apr 4, 2008 5:01pm Through Apr.13th 5:00pm. however, this will be first come, first serve until all 20 team slots are full. The League will be hosting the third (3rd annual) Who's Your Daddy? Tournament the weekend of June 14 & 15 at the Ulysses Ball Park in Golden. This will be a NAGAAA Open Division tournament for Division B & C teams (a web tournament page with details will be coming soon). League play will be at Vanderbilt fields beginning May 18, 2008 (2008 Schedule). We will have a start time of 8:00 am with the last game of the day starting at 6:00 pm. We are having more player sign-up events at several different locations on the same days to accommodate more people. Here's the list $45.00 Player fees are due at sign up.
Sunday April 6th: Compound Basix (145 N. Broadway) 12:00-3:00pm / JR'S Bar and Grill 3:30-5:30pm Saturday April 12th: Charlies 12:00-3:00pm / Wrangler 3:30-5:30pm Tuesday April 15th: Hamburger Marys 7:00-9:00pm Opening Day players may register 1 hour before their scheduled start of game, and fee is $65.00 per player .
